...just in time for the band's 30th Anniversary gig at The C'est What? tavern, Saturday February 09, 3 to 6 pm.
Brian's broken arm is sufficiently healed to allow him to play his trombone - albeit tentatively.
Fans and band members alike are delighted he is able to make this momentous occasion.
In addition to regulars Janet Shaw, Andrej Saradin, Jamie Macpherson, Colin Bray and Reide Kaiser, the gig will feature two additional players who were part of the band back in 1989: John Reid/banjo, from Australia and Brian Graville/trumpet. Brian & Jan are also founding members and Colin, while he did not play was also at that first gig.
Rounding off the band is Gary Scriven/percussion.
The second of three sets will be a recreation of the very same set of tunes played at the first gig.
To quote another musician, "A splendid time is guaranteed for all".
