(from Chris Daniels, 15.04.10):

We're very pleased to tell you Climax will perform April 18 4-7pm at Alleycatz Restaurant and Lounge, 2409 Yonge Street (east side), two and a half blocks north of Eglinton, north of Broadway, south of Erskine in the Alley.
Alleycatz is a well established restaurant and lounge with an interesting Mediterranean menu, stage and dance floor. An easy walk from Eglinton subway station.

As part of the arrangement with management, Climax will administer and receive $5 per person at the door. Doors open 3.30pm. We hope you'll all come along to support Climax in what may become a regular venue.

There is room to park on Yonge St., also opposite on Yonge St. behind UPS, on Erskine Ave., Castlefield and Holly streets.

We're glad to welcome back from South Carolina Snowbird trumpeter Al Cox. Al was a member of the Manchester-based BBC Northern Dance Orchestra before moving to Canada in the 1960s. Former member of Climax for 22 years,
'Tricky' Mick Lewis joins us from Canmore, Aberta while Manfred Koch, much in demand trombone player, completes the impressive front line.

We're lucky to have fine drummer Glenn Anderson with us. Glenn has performed for many years with The Excelsior Jazz, Alex Pangman's AlleyCats, Red Hot Ramble and many other good bands.

Veteran Climaxers 'Happy' Jack Vincken banjo and 'Captain' Chris Daniels bass complete the line-up for our triumphant return to the bustling Yonge-Egg hub.
